A special Founder's Night Out took place on Mon 22nd June 2009 in Mango Restaurant, Stowell Street, Newcastle upon Tyne at 7.30 p.m. Amongst the Founders present were W. Bros. Tom Foo, John Chan, John Bartlett, Steve Halsall, Dave Smith and Ron Hall, and Bro. Pindi Naru. John Wallace, the WM was the Guest of Honour on this occasion.

One agreed and important outcome of the evening was that OL will celebrate its 20th year birthday (20 being very significant for OL because our Lodge No. 9371 adds up to 20!). JW, W. Bro. Brian Mason and his Social Committee will be responsible for hosting the celebration. Date, time, venue and format of the event will be made available as soon as a decision has been made.
