The installation of W Bro. John Spark Wallace took place on Mon 18th May 2009 in Corbridge Road Masonic Hall at 6.30 p.m. W Bro. Brian Rudd PSGD APGM was presenting the R W Provincial Grand Master. Amongst the distinguished guests, were:

WM of Sandyford (John’s mother) Lodge, W Bro. Larry Ingham
plus a number of Grand Officers.

It was a short ceremony which was performed by W Bro. Derek Dunn PPGSwdB (Durham), the Installing Master and it was witnessed by over 90 brethren. In fact, this evening it was W Bro. John’s 13th time in the Chair of King Solomon. Lucky for John! W Bro. John Bartlett PPJGW delivered the Charge to the Wardens followed by W Bro. Tom Foo PGStB who delivered the Charge to the Brethren.

The Festive Board was held in the Happiness Inn Cantonese Restaurant in Percy Street, Newcastle City Centre. The menu for the Banquet was as follows:
